The Club’s entire operational management is the Club Manager’s responsibility.
Joel Chappell
Course Manager
Joel is in charge of the whole Golf Course and practice grounds.
Joel has recently took charge, joining Coventry in April 2024 moving from Kilworth Springs where he spent 2 years as Head Green Keeper. Joel has a great pedigree with 16 years of green keeping experience having held positions at Loch Lomond, Kirby Muxloe, The Belfry as well as spending time working in the USA.
Gary McColgan
Head Chef
Gary is in charge of all the catering provisions at the Golf Club.
Gary has recently taken on the role of Head Chef, Joining Coventry in June 2024. Gary is a well traveled and very experienced chef who knows golf clubs well having work at the West Midlands Golf Club for 10 years.
Michelle Clark
Club Office Administrator
Michelle is in charge of all Membership enquiries and takes care of all office administration requirements.
Michelle has been at the club since 2018 having previously held the position of accounts clerk moving to her current role in 2023.
Michelle is always happy to help.
Martin Sutliff
Head PGA Professional
Martin’s Professional shop is at the heart of the golf club playing a huge part of the Club’s day to day operation.
Martin overseas all club competitions as well as running his own retail shop which he has done successfully since 2014 when he took over as Head Professional from the well-respected Dr Phil Weaver.
