Ladies Golf at Coventry Golf Club

We welcome ladies of all ages & ability.

The ladies section within Coventry Golf Club is a vibrant and very busy membership catergory that caters for all young girls and ladies of all ages and abilities. 

Whether you're still at school, working  or retired, if you want to learn and play the game of golf, you won't find a more varied and inclusive fun group of ladies to play with in the county.

The ladies of Coventry Golf Club are a very active group even off the course, constantly having fun at many of the clubs social events  that are held on a regular basis throughout the year.  

Lifelong friendships can be formed on and off the course for those not just looking to play golf, but are also looking to get involved in the many social events that are held at the club where they can meet other like minded lady golfers. 

All golf clubs traditionally have a Ladies Day and ours is no different.  

Our ladies day is held on a Tuesday and all lady golfers have priority access to the course from 8.30am to 1.30pm.

Competitions are held on a Tuesday where handicaps can be gained and maintained.  Qualifying competitions can be played over both 18 & 9 holes so that we can cater for all ages and abilities throughout the year. 

For those ladies unable to attend on our Tuesday Ladies Day, the ladies have an alternative day so they don't miss out, this allows those working mums to still get involved and not miss out on those midweek competitions and can still work on getting that handicap lower.  

The ladies alternative golf day is Sunday.

9 hole qualifying competitions are also held in the evenings to assist in keeping as many working ladies involved as possible. 

For those ladies wishing to meet and play against other ladies from nearby golf clubs, the ladies play both friendly matches and competitive league matches all over the county representing Coventry Golf Club.

Once a year the ladies all get together and support the Lady Captain and go away for the day playing at a course chosen by the current lady captain.  

Coventry Golf Club also holds a Ladies Seniors Open , a Ladies Team Open and a Ladies AM-AM for lady club members of all ages and abilities.  

We also host the Women's Open Amatuer Stroke Play competition plus many other National events.

Ladies from all over the country attend these Opens due to the quality of our course.
